Soraya Huneidi is a contract specialist with the firm of Marshall & White, PC with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of government contract law, commercial law, compliance, and import/export law.  Ms. Huneidi works closely with clients in the administration, review, and management of complex federal and commercial agreements, including Government contracts and subcontracts of all types, Master Service Agreements, Professional Service Agreements, Software Licensing Agreements, Channel and Reseller Agreements, and Statements of Work.  She also has experience with multi-party agreements, including strategic partner and multi-tier channel arrangements.

 

Ms. Huneidi has a strong background assisting government contractor clients with the proposal development and submission processes, including the draft and review of proposals under RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation types.  She provides support to clients during all stages of the business cycle, including contract negotiation, sales team support, deal-desk reviews, rev-rec and other financial analyses, and contract administration and filing.  In addition, Ms. Huneidi has drafted and negotiated Letters of Intent, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Eval Agreements and Teaming Agreements.

 

Ms. Huneidi has a strong knowledge of key federal rules and requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the DFARS and various other agency supplements.  She regularly assists clients with such activities as change requests, amendments, work scope adjustments, the negotiation of appropriate flowdowns, end of life procedures, and contract closeout.  She also assists clients with their administrative requirements, including SAM filings, CAGE / DUNS maintenance, annual certs and reps, commerciality disclosures, small business plan requirements, and the tracking and monitoring of funding limits to ensure performance within ceiling levels.

 

Ms. Huneidi has experience leading teams during the contract negotiation process, as well as ensuring senior management and C-level personnel are advised of important developments during the process.  This experience allows her to function seamlessly within client teams, enhance and develop these teams, and interface well with leadership.  She has a strong attention to detail, and regularly assists clients with the updates to key templates and processes.

 

Prior to joining Marshall & White, Ms. Huneidi was with NetApp, Inc., working as a Contracts Manager in its U.S. Public Sector Division.  In this role she worked with various external and internal customers in the Professional Services, Hardware and Software Divisions and Commercial Services & Policy groups.

 

Ms. Huneidi has an extensive background as a consultant providing project management, senior contract management and negotiations support to companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton, BAE Systems, NCI Information Systems, CA, Inc. and Qwest Government Systems, with respect to their federal business, as well as to global companies and organizations such as AOL / Time Warner, Deloitte Consulting, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).   Ms. Huneidi has expertise with a wide array of client platforms and systems, including SalesForce.com, DocuSign, Apptus, Emptoris, QuoteEdge, SAP, PeopleSoft, CostPoint, Jamus, Deltek and other assorted CRM and web-based systems.  Ms. Huneidi is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
